So things are hectic, long-distant, immediate family members are seriously ill, kids need to be delivered here and picked up there; a good night's sleep and complete rest is non-existent.

I challenge you to share your best keep secret to staying in shape, and getting a good night's rest.

If you have a bad or hectic day, what do you do to dust yourself off and get back on with life with a positive mindset?

Not very creative, I know, so sue me. (You won't get much if you do.) :-P

Anyway, I am very excited about our courses this semester. The management class looks like a challenge, but I expect it to be fun as well. The collection development class has been interesting so far.

What do the rest of you think? What do you expect to 'get out' of these courses?

Let me get this straight....

The same people who can provide us with all of our class information MONTHS in advance, down to the days we have class, are incapable, 3 months later, of providing us the same info for our other class?

I called today. THey said we'd know one way or another on Monday.

I must confess to some nervousness about next semesters course offerings. I'm looking forward to our databases class.

Basically, we get to learn how to control other companies databases remotely, thus beginning us on a path to world domination that only ends with...

Eh? What's that?

Oh, we don't learn that?

Oh....

Back to the drawing board.

Seriously, for me at least, this will be the first PR class I've taken. I have my books already for book classes, even though they don't start for another two weeks. (In my baccalaurate days, I was known for buying books literally minutes before classes started; of course, I lived on campus then.

But, on a side note, I think that we of the Turnip Truck have earned a break; who's up for the Midnight Showing of Revenge of the Sith? Anyone?

Why, why, why, do I never learn?

This isn't about just falling off, it's about repeated stupidity. I recently did a rather involved bibliography. Despite just doing one last semester, I managed to repeat the dumb mistakes I did last time which is to find cool sources with good reviews and then manage to forget where I found them at, or not get enough information.

For anyone doing a discography of things that may have been originally recorded on vinyl and then rereleased on cd; there is another nightmare. Apparently some record companies guard their locations like they are state secrets.

Well, I feel like I just fell off this turnip truck. I created a blog a few weeks back, and just tonight I am hoping that I figured out how to publish it. I would hope that knowledgeable people could contribute, but I don't know if the public can access it.

Okay, I just read the comments for this blog and we got a comment from someone who would appear to not be part of our class. That is great, I just would like to know how to get people to comment on my blog. I've had one since December and the only comments thus far have been from relatives. I guess I need to do my homework.
